Fall Cross DTF Single Transfer ONLY
Preparation and Alignment
Lint roll the garment area to clear away invisible loose fibers.
Pre-press the fabric for 5 to 7 seconds to remove wrinkles and trapped moisture.
Align the DTF transfer print-side down against the garment. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Heat Pressing the Design
Set temperature to 300°F–325°F for cotton/blends, or around 280°F for polyester.
Apply firm, heavy pressure for 10 to 15 seconds.
Cover with a teflon or parchment sheet if desired to protect the platen. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Hot Peeling the Film
Peel immediately right after the press opens while the film is still hot.
Pull fast and smooth like a band-aid at a low diagonal angle without stopping or hesitating.
Note: If any ink resists or sticks to the film, stop, lay it back down, and press for a few more seconds before trying again. [1, 2]
Final Curing Press
Cover the design with parchment paper (for a matte look) or a teflon sheet (for a glossy look).
Repress the garment for 5 to 10 seconds to lock the fibers and increase wash durability. [1, 2, 3]
